Since then, more than seven million Fumoto Valves have been distributed and used worldwide. These valves have been tested and granted "Genuine Parts" status by 6 major Japanese motor vehicle manufacturers: Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru and Isuzu. In 1984, Fumoto Giken began exporting Fumoto Valves to various companies installed in the U.S. and Canada. In order to expand the market and continue to distribute more Fumoto Valves into the automotive markets in North America, Fumoto Giken founded QwikValveA in 2006 and installed its office in New York. Focusing especially on the automotive markets, the S-type Oil Drain Valves, which has a short nipple that allows users to attach a hose to it for convenient draining, have been newly developed and distributed exclusively through QwikValveA in North America.
